Busy New Year

Updated: Mar 4, 2019

I know its already March, but I haven't had time to look up from a number of project to maintain the posting schedule. January was a mad sprint to complete repaint a pair of bedrooms in my house, assemble the disparate parts of the nursery we have been collecting, and build and install a murphy bed to provide added space for expected guests.

This is the LORIBED plan for the Murphy Bed

The bookcase/changing table and the crib were "small" sub projects in the nursery curation.

And because simply having a newborn around wasn't enough work, I accepted and fulfilled a 60 piece commission of pens and key chains for a local institution to hand out to VIPs. The work was great and the process was engaging and educational. The timing however, was less than ideal.

Samples of the February commission. Key Chain. Ballpoint Twist Pen. Rollerball Pen (L-R).

Thankfully, March and spring has arrived and there will warmer days in the studio. In the chaos of these last couple of months, I have some great projects on the horizon.
